Château Beauséjour

Charlemagne took a strong interest in winegrowing here, and it is said that he was responsible for developing the use of oak barrels with iron hoops to transport the wine. Château Beauséjour's vineyards were first planted circa 1870. It has been in the same family for five generations.

Fronsac - Red

The grapes are hand-picked and then carefully sorted on a table. Vatting for about twenty days, in temperature-controlled vats. The wine's beautiful deep red colour still has intense youthful highlights. A warm, attractive, bouquet with blackcurrant and blackberry aromas. Very round on the palate, with fine tannins. Beautiful grip as well as a long, fruity, spicy aftertaste.
