Dauphin de Grand Pontet

The property is located on the western plateau of the commune of Saint-Emilion nearby the prestigious Château Beauséjour, Beauséjour Bécot and Clos Fourtet. The vineyard of Grand Pontet originated in 1415 was planted by an army captain named d'Estien.

Saint Emilion Grand Cru - Rouge

Planted on a clay-limestone soil, the grape varieties that make up the wine of Dauphin de Grand Pontet are typical of Bordeaux: two thirds Merlot, one third Cabernet Franc. Second wine of a grand cru classé, it is vinified in the same way as a great wine.


This wine is an aromatic wine, very fruity, fresh and well balanced with mature tannins.
